The Pentecost River at Home Valley Station.
Camping is permitted beside the river but we chose to stay on the beautiful lawn sites near the swimming pool. On arrival we were directed to drive onto the lawn and keep wheel marks off the gravel !?! The best campground we have experienced. There was an abundance of water and we had en-suite facilities with solar heated showers.
Home Valley Station is an on-site training academy designed for Indigenous men and women from the area. Tourists are offered trail rides as well as tours of the property; or you are welcome to go on a self-guided tour or walk.
