WYNDHAM (Western Australia's northern most town)

View from Five Rivers Lookout where the King, Ord, Pentecost, Durack and Forest Rivers empty into the Cambridge Gulf.

Located in the old Courthouse building in the historic port area is the Wyndham Historical Society Museum.

An old engine used at the local meat works, Wyndhams chief industry until it was closed in 1985.

The ruins of the large jarrah jetty built in the 1890s to export cattle

These large bronze statues of an Aboriginal family and native animals are known as the dreamtime statues and are a proud reminder of the Aboriginal heritage of the Wyndham area. They were designed and built by Aboriginal families, traditional owners and descendants of the stolen generation.
