Barn Hill Station
After driving 10kms along a red dirt road, opening and shutting three farm gates as we passed through, we were surprised to find on arriving at Barn Hill Station that there was a beautiful beach sloping away from the camp sites. We weren't slow in taking advantage of the situation and were soon on the beach relaxing. David reading after a dip in the sea.

Every Sunday Barn Hill Station provides a three course meal for $15 per head. It is so popular they limit bookings to 200 people. We arrived on a Sunday and we were fortunate to be able to snap up the last couple of tickets. Tourists bring their tables, chairs, plates, cutlery, and drinks and set up on a large area of lawn. We met two Perth couples during the day and were invited to sit at their table for the evening. A fantastic aboriginal band played popular tunes as we ate our meal and everyone had a wonderful night.
