Cape Range National Park - Ningaloo Reef

Turquoise Bay - our favourite snorkeling beach, the beautiful turquoise water and white sand were so inviting. And the fish! It was like swimming in a tropical fish tank, with fish of every colour, shape and size. I particularly loved swimming with schools of small fish completely surrounding my face mask, but it was also interesting to swim around the multi-coloured parrot fish, angel fish, and a vast number of colourful small and large fish swimming around the coral or appearing from beneath a rock ledge.

David looking very fit & trim in his (as good as new) $3 Op Shop wetsuit, ready to go for another snorkel

We have seen over twenty 'Ultimate' campers since we left home but we never envisaged camping with one either side of us! But we did.

Cape Range National Park is excellent for whale watching, we never tired of looking out to sea. Our stay here was very special and it was hard to leave at the end of our five day stay.
