Weano Gorge

Weano Gorge is the most difficult walk we undertook at Karijini. The view from the lookout shows how narrow the gorge is in places

To reach handrail pool it is necessary to wade through water

David wading through water on our way to the swimming hole

The point where the gorge starts to narrow

It was fun maneuvering around curves and bends in the crevices between the gorge walls

David nearing the end of the narrow gorge

The start of the handrail can just be seen at the end of this crevice

When we saw how steep it was at this point we decided against climbing down into the pool, even with the aid of the handrail
