Oodnadatta Track - William Creek to Oodnadatta
After successfully crossing Peake Creek we jumped out of our car to take a photo of the cars following
Between William Creek and Oodnadatta the most stunning sight is the huge Algebuckina bridge. It is the longest bridge in South Australia, 578m long and 15m high. That's our Nissan and Ultimate Camper beneath the bridge
You can climb up the railway dam to reach the bridge but you can only walk a short distance along the line before reaching a barrier preventing you from going further.
We watched this white faced heron as we ate our lunch on the bank of the Neales River.
The Pink Roadhouse, Oodnadatta. The photo does not depict the true colour which is "shocking pink"
They even have a pink VOLVO
David with an aboriginal elder who sings and plays guitar to entertain tourists at the Pink Roadhouse.
