The day after we left Melbourne we lost a wheel off the camper whilst driving through Ouyen, and dragged it along on its brake drum for 3km before being waved down by a passing motorist.
The RACV rescued us and whilst we walked around Ouyen waiting for the car to be repaired we spotted this mallee root weather indicator outside the police station.
